The Han Dynasty, founded by Emperor Gaozu of Han, was marked by his strategic military campaigns and initiatives to ensure the well-being of the people. He led successful campaigns against the Xiongnu in the north, established Frontier Command Headquarters to protect the Western Regions, and worked to promote peace and prosperity among the populace.
However, as the Central Plains weakened, remnants of the Xiongnu launched a significant assault on the Western Regions. They captured the Frontier Command Headquarters and subjected thousands of people to enslavement and suffering.
Now, you step into the role of the commander of the Expeditionary Army of Han. Your mission begins at Yumen Pass, where you must recover the remains of your compatriots buried in the sands and drive out the Xiongnu invaders. This journey is fraught with challenges, sacrifices, desires, and hardships. As you lead your army, you face a crucial choice: will you pursue endless conquest or employ political cunning to achieve your goals? Your strategy will shape the course of history.
